Public Invited to Rock ’n’ Enroll Aug. 8 at Trinity River Campus

FORT WORTH, Texas (Jul. 27, 2009)

Tarrant County College's new downtown Fort Worth location, Trinity River Campus, will host a Rock 'n' Enroll enrollment fair featuring free food and family-friendly entertainment Saturday, Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The general public and all ages are invited to the event, highlighted by music and an on-site broadcast from KISS FM, at 300 Trinity Campus Circle, located on the northwest corner of Belknap and Taylor streets.

In anticipation of the campus' first official fall term set to begin Aug. 24, attendees will receive tours of the newly renovated facility and assistance from student services including financial aid, testing and business services. Those who enroll in courses will also be entered for a chance to win a free class and textbooks.

"We are thrilled to introduce the community to our newest campus and provide students a smooth start to the academic year," said Trinity River Campus President Tahita Fulkerson.

Storytelling, face painting, animal balloons and a bounce house are among the activities planned for children. Free one-on-one resume evaluation and assistance will also be available to all who attend.
