Welcome to Tarrant County College Northeast Campus. Located in the cities of Hurst and North Richland Hills between Fort Worth and Dallas, TCC Northeast has “changed students’ minds” for more than 40 years.
We offer academic transfer courses providing credit for the first two years of a baccalaureate degree. When students complete our core curriculum of courses, they will have completed the core for any public college or university in Texas. A special Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degree affords students the first two years of a bachelor’s degree in Education.
Our workforce education offerings include both Associate of Applied Science degrees and certificates in 25 programs. These technical programs prepare students for careers in the allied health fields, business-related areas, computer and information technologies, graphics and broadcast communications, child development, paralegal, and other options available for credit or through Continuing Education.
TCC Northeast plays an active role in Northeast Tarrant County. Many of our students give back to the community through Service Learning projects. Dual credit agreements with all of the area high schools allow high school juniors and seniors to obtain college credit. Partnerships and 2 plus 2 agreements with 4-year colleges and universities facilitate the transfer process.
We have small classes that focus on student learning and individual attention and produce successful students who meet or exceed their goals. Our students traditionally receive numerous scholarships and have been recognized as Jack Kent Cooke and Coca-Cola Scholars, members of the All Texas and All USA Academic teams, and National and International Forensics participants. Two of our Astronomy students even discovered a new asteroid!
So, I invite you to look us over. Come to the campus, and we’ll show you around. We want to be your college of choice.
