The purpose of the African American Professionals Conference is to provide strategies and tools for professional leaders, community advocates, business owners and professionals to manage challenges created by diversified and global competition.
This year’s conference is focused on encouraging both seasoned and emerging professionals to reevaluate their current status and skill sets and to be open to ways to upgrade and improve themselves in those areas.
The one-day conference features a keynote luncheon, informative seminars, guided networking opportunities and collaborative work sessions.
The program is designed to empower new and experienced professionals to achieve their full potential as business leaders, entrepreneurs and community leaders.
The keynote speaker is Glenn Oliver Lewis, who is currently a partner in the law firm of Linebarger Goggan Blair and Sampson.
He earned an A.A. degree from Tarrant County College and a B.A. from Texas Wesleyan University. He went on to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from The University of Texas School of Law in Austin.
