English Developmental Studies

Career Coach buttonEnglish Developmental Studies courses are designed for students who:

  • Need additional preparation to be successful in ENGL 1301and ENGL 1302
  • Did not pass writing portion of ACCUPLACER, THEA or state-approved assessment test

Emphasis is placed on improving knowledge of grammar and usage and composing coherent, well-developed paragraphs and essays.

Exiting Developmental English/Writing:

  • Pass writing portion of ACCUPLACER or THEA
  • Complete ENGL 0325 with a C or higher
