Emergency Medical Services

Career Coach buttonEmergency Medical Services (EMS) programs at Tarrant County College are designed to train students to provide fast and efficient emergency medical care to the sick and injured both at the scene and during their subsequent transport to the hospital.

To be successful these professionals must demonstrate:

  • High level of ethics and morals
  • Desire to provide the best possible medical care
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent physical conditioning
  • Ability to work well on a team and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong math and science background
