Offered on Trinity River Campus, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) students will learn to use a computer system capable of assembling, storing, manipulating and visually displaying geographically referenced information.

Graduates who complete the program are able to:
Students who successfully complete the two-year, 66-semester-hour program earn an Associate in Applied Science degree. A Skills Enhancement Certificate is available for students with a bachelor's degree or experience in a related field, and who are seeking training in the field of GIS.
Students with no GIS knowledge may obtain a Certificate of Completion that will qualify them for entry-level employment in the field.
