History

Students wishing to pursue a bachelor’s degree are required to take history courses, as per the Texas General Education Core Curriculum:

• Six hours of U.S. History are required for a bachelor’s degree in all state colleges and universities in Texas.
• TCC history courses transfer directly to ALL Texas colleges and universities.

Courses in World Civilization and Western Civilization are also available at TCC.

• All of these courses are transferable.
• These courses may meet specific degree requirements depending upon academic major.
