The Tarrant County College Paralegal Studies Program provides training for paralegals. Paralegals help lawyers prepare for hearings, trials, real estate closings, and client meetings and may assist an attorney in many specialized areas of law.
Paralegals may assist an attorney in any of the following areas of service:
The need for paralegals has increased substantially during the past decade as society has turned more and more frequently to the legal community for advice.
The Paralegal Studies Program does not qualify a graduate to take a Bar exam, represent clients in court, or give legal advice.
The Paralegal Studies program is offered on Northeast Campus.
