Psychology

We offer coursework, certificates and an associate degree that prepare students to transfer to psychology programs at four-year institutions. Our coursework contributes to a basis of knowledge that complements other programs. Examples include:

• Mental health counseling
• Social work
• Child development
• Criminal justice
• Business
• Liberal arts studies and
• Other applied disciplines

Careers

Psychology courses provide a foundation of understanding beneficial in any occupation or activity that involves working with others. Career choices include:

• Social work
• Higher education

In addition to credit courses, TCC hosts psychology clubs and special events to provide students with a broad context of the discipline.
