The Radiologic Technology Program is a selective admission, two-year Associate of Applied Science degree program.

The program requires participation in clinical rotations. Additionally, all courses are offered only during the daytime hours.

Role of the Radiologic Technologist, RT(R)

The RT(R) plays an important role on the medical team as a diagnostic imager to the radiologist.

RT(R)'s duties include:

  • Operating fixed and mobile X-ray equipment in a variety of settings
  • Positioning/communicating with patients
  • Processing films/images
