Radiologic Technology
The Program
The Radiologic Technology Program is a selective admission, two-year Associate of Applied Science degree program.
The program requires participation in clinical rotations. Additionally, all courses are offered only during the daytime hours.

Role of the Radiologic Technologist, RT(R)
The RT(R) plays an important role on the medical team as a diagnostic imager to the radiologist.
RT(R)'s duties include:
- Operating fixed and mobile X-ray equipment in a variety of settings
- Positioning/communicating with patients
- Processing films/images
Career Opportunities
Successful completion of the two-year program should allow the graduate to:
- Successfully complete the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists' (ARRT) radiography examination
- Demonstrate competency in the skills necessary to function as an RT(R)
- Demonstrate professional behaviors consistent with ARRT Standards of Ethics and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists' (ASRT) Code of Ethics
Upon completion of the program, graduates may find career opportunities in:
- Hospitals
- Clinics
- Doctor offices
- Mobile units
- Education
- Temporary / traveling staffing
- Sales / Application specialists
