  • Scientific study of social structure
  • Examination of the interactions between individuals and between social groups
  • Study of the nature of behavior in relation to the social environment

Several sociology courses are available through Distance Learning.

We offer coursework that prepares students to transfer to programs at four-year institutions.

Outside of the Classroom

Students are very active in service learning at TCC and are recognized each semester, throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, as some of the most generous and devoted volunteers.
