Our transitional programs encourage participation in transfer, two-year certificate and technical programs along with continuing education and developmental programs to ensure opportunities for everyone in the community.

Whether you are the first person in your family to attend college, new to the U.S. education system or a single mother who is in need of support to transition into the workforce, TCC can help.

Bridge

A program designed to prepare incoming students for a comprehensive college experience.

College Connection

A program designed to recruit high school students before they graduate and help "Close the Gap".

Early High School / Dual Enrollment

A program for qualified high school students interested in attending college early and/or earning dual credit.

Embajadores de la Comunidad

Participants learn about the educational system of the United States and establish support networks.

Faith Based Initiatives

This outreach program partners with the community to support and prepare families to succeed in higher education.

Mock College Day

TCC partners with local high schools to provide graduating seniors an opportunity to experience a real college experience.

Mobile Go Center

This mobile center travels to schools, churches and community events to provide information about college preparation.

STARS

A TRIO program designed to improve retention and graduation rates and to help students transition from one level of higher education to another.

Tech Prep

This program provides high school students a head start earning college credit toward an A.A.S.

University Transfer Centers

A University Transfer Center is located on each campus to discuss course transferability, basics/core curriculum and four-year degree planning.

Upward Bound

This TRIO program provides selected participants year-round support in high school performance and preparation for entrance into college.

Visions Unlimited

TCC and homeless shelter providers in Tarrant County partner to provide an opportunity for a higher education for the homeless.

Women in New Roles (WINR)

This program is designed to assist women who are in the transition of returning to school.
