ORP (Optional Retirement Plan) is available to all full time faculty members, certain administrative and professional positions as prescribed by the District. This election must be made within the first 90 days of employment. Failure to elect prior to the 91st day will cause the retirement account to remain with TRS.

If you elected ORP from previous employment in the state of Texas, you must remain in ORP.
