General Educational Development (GED) Test

General Educational Development (GED) is equivalent to a high school diploma. The GED covers mathematics, language arts, reading and writing, social studies and science.

GED prep courses are offered through Continuing Education.

GED Testing Is Offered:

Register for the GED

You should:

  • Pre-register in person no later than one week before the test date
    • Requires approximately 30-45 minutes
  • Pay the testing fee atone of the Business Services Offices
  • Present a valid driver's license, state issued ID card or passport
  • Present your Social Security card

Retesting Information

Retesters must:

  • Wait six months or complete a certified GED prep course
  • Provide official scores from previous exams
  • Pay the $20 fee (per section)
