The Lynn Wilson Memorial Scholarship
This endowed scholarship was established and named in memory of Lynn Wilson, a beloved wife, friend and professor of history at TCC NE Campus for 31 years. She touched and impacted the lives of thousands of students during her tenure at Tarrant County College.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be currently enrolled at Tarrant County College pursuing an Associate of Arts in Teaching Degree with the intent to transfer to a four-year institution to earn a teaching certificate.
- Area of teaching interest must be history, geography, or political science.
- Must attend the Northeast Campus.
- Must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at TCC prior to period of award.
- Must enroll in a minimum of 9 semester hours for period of award.
- Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 2.75.
- This is a merit-based scholarship; although determination of financial aid is not required, students are encouraged to file a FAFSA application for other forms of available aid.
- Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 is achieved in the fall and a minimum of 9 credit hours are completed.
Application Process
- Complete the TCC Foundation scholarship application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Scholarship Amount
$750 per semester
