Scholarships
In addition to general Foundation scholarships, many types of scholarships are administered through the Foundation, including endowed and dedicated scholarship funds, community, faculty/staff professional development and school district partnerships. Scholarship criteria are unique for each type.

Foundation Scholarships (Credit Courses)
To qualify for Foundation scholarships, students are required to:
- Apply to TCC
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), for need based scholarships
- Complete the Foundation Scholarship application
Foundation Scholarships (Continuing Education Courses)
- Complete the Continuing Education Financial Aid Application
- Complete the Foundation Continuing Education Scholarship Application
Community Scholarships
Organizations in the community award scholarships. Criteria and deadlines differ for each scholarship. Please view each organization's scholarship criteria and application for requirements and deadlines.
If your are an outside organization providing a scholarship to a Tarrant County College student, please view the required documentation that is needed in order to process the scholarship for the student.
Departmental Scholarships
These awards generally require a specific major. Contact the department of your academic program or view available scholarships for more information.
Faculty/Staff Professional Development Scholarships
The Foundation offers the R Gordon and Louise Appleman Professional Development Award to faculty and staff at TCC.
School District Partnerships
Scholarship opportunities are available for graduating high school seniors through school district partnerships with Tarrant County College Foundation.
