Chris Marshall Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship fund was established for Tarrant County College students who are legal residents of Tarrant County and have graduated from or currently reside in the Birdville or HEB Independent School Districts.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Must meet federal guidelines for financial need.
• Must enroll in a minimum of 12 semester hours (8 if in nursing program) for period of award.
• Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 2.5 or high school equivalent if a first-time TCC student or minimum total standard GED score of 2850.  
• Recipient will receive a spring scholarship  if a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 is achieved in the fall and a minimum of 12 credit hours (8 if in nursing program) are completed.
• Recipient may qualify for continued awards if they enroll in TCC within one year of high school graduation.

Application Process

• Complete the TCC Foundation scholarship application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Complete the current FAFSA for determination of financial need. The financial aid process must be completed by the scholarship deadline.
• First-time TCC students: an academic transcript or GED scores, if applicable. Submit to the Foundation office.

$750 per semester
Up to three scholarships available
