The Patrick H. Admire Family Scholarship
An endowed family scholarship created by Pat and Sondra Admire for students of Tarrant County College pursuing studies in accounting or business.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College with the intent to pursue an associate degree or a certificate of completion in accounting or business-related fields of study.
- Must enroll in a minimum of 9 semester hours for period of award.
- Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 2.75, 3.0 desirable, or high school equivalent if a first-time TCC student or minimum total standard GED score of 3000.
- This is a merit-based scholarship; although determination of financial aid is not required, students are encouraged to file a FAFSA application for other forms of available aid.
- During the course of each semester the student must volunteer eight hours with a Tarrant County nonprofit organization.
- Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 is achieved in the fall, a minimum of 9 credit hours are completed, and signed verification of his or her volunteer service is provided to the Foundation Office.
Application Process
- Complete the TCC Foundation scholarship application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- First-time TCC students: an academic transcript or GED scores, if applicable. Submit to the Foundation office.
Scholarship Amount
$400 per semester
