The Jacquelyn Kay Rowe Memorial Nursing Scholarship
An endowed scholarship created by the family of Jacquelyn Kay Rowe, associate professor of nursing at Tarrant County College from August 22, 1983, to May 31, 1995. Passing on her joy and dedication to the health field, two of Mrs. Rowe's children became registered nurses, one a graduate of Tarrant County College, and a third child is currently a physician.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have been admitted into the Associate of Applied Science Program in Nursing at Tarrant County College.
- Preference is given to applicants who are a single head of household.
- Must enroll as a full-time nursing student for period of award.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the required courses for the A.A.S. Degree in Nursing.
- This is a merit-based scholarship; although determination of financial aid is not required, students are encouraged to file a FAFSA application for other forms of available aid.
- Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 is achieved in the fall and a minimum of 8 credit hours are completed.
Application Process
- Complete the TCC Foundation scholarship application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Scholarship Amount
$500 per semester
