The Texas Jet/Charlie R. Hillard Endowed Scholarship
An endowed scholarship established in memory of Charlie R. Hillard to reward aviation students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be currently enrolled at Tarrant County College with the intent to pursue an Associate of Applied Science Degree or a Certificate of Completion in Aviation Maintenance Technology.
- Must enroll in a minimum of 6 semester hours for period of award.
- Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 2.5 or high school equivalent if a first-time TCC student or minimum total standard GED score of 2750.
- Preference is given to full-time students.
- This is a merit-based scholarship; although determination of financial aid is not required, students are encouraged to file a FAFSA application for other forms of available aid.
- Preference is also given to graduates of a Tarrant County or Parker County high school.
Application Process
- Complete the TCC Foundation scholarship application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- First-time TCC students: an academic transcript or GED scores, if applicable. Submit to the Foundation office.

$250 per fall semester only
