The Respiratory Care Program Scholarship

A scholarship funded by the Respiratory Care Department at Medical City Dallas Hospital for students in Tarrant County College's Respiratory Care Program.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be currently enrolled at Tarrant County College pursuing an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Respiratory Care.
• Must have completed a minimum of 20 credit hours of RSPT courses prior to period of award.
• Must enroll in a minimum of 6 semester hours for period of award.
• Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 3.0.
• Must meet federal guidelines for financial need.
• Recipient must attend a scholarship presentation ceremony at Medical City Dallas Hospital.
• Must be a member of the Respiratory Care Student Club and a student member of the Texas Society for Respiratory Care.
• Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 is achieved in the fall and a minimum of 6 credit hours are completed.

Application Process

• Complete the TCC Foundation scholarship application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Complete the current FAFSA for determination of financial need. The financial aid process must be completed by the scholarship deadline.

Scholarship Amount

$500 per semester
