The Liberty Mutual Insurance Working Student Scholarship
This scholarship was established by The Liberty Mutual Insurance Group benefiting working students of Tarrant County College pursuing business or insurance-related studies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College with the intent to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion in business or insurance-related studies such as accounting, business, management, marketing, office administration or small business management.
- Must enroll in a minimum of 9 semester hours for period of award.
- Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 2.75 or high school equivalent if a first-time TCC student or minimum total standard GED score of 3000.
- Must meet federal guidelines for financial need.
- Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 is achieved in the fall and a minimum of 9 credit hours are completed.
- Applicants may also be considered for job openings with Liberty Mutual.
- Liberty Mutual employees can receive tuition reimbursement for approved college courses after one year of full-time employment.
Application Process
- Complete the TCC Foundation scholarship application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Complete the current FAFSA for determination of financial need. The financial aid process must be completed by the scholarship deadline.
- First-time TCC student:, an academic transcript or GED scores, if applicable. Submit to the Foundation office.

$500 per semester
